Children’s Dentistry (Pediatric Dentistry)
Most of the children are fearful of dental treatment, usually owing to past experience or fear of a new situation.
The hospital and faculty aim to make the child comfortable and dispel all fear and anxiety and make the visit a fun and exciting experience.
This department is managed by our senior lady doctor, Dr Kaveramma who has immense experience in treating children, along with Dr.Pruthvi and Dr.Jane. Although not used frequently, this hospital has a special device called ‘Consed’ (Conscious Sedation) for managing children with immense anxiety.
This hospital avoids treatment under general anaesthesia for children.
